Turgutreis, the neighbourhood of Bodrum known for its sunset, existed until 1972 with the name Karatoprak.Turgutreis is named after the Ottoman Admiral Turgutreis. Turgutreis is a natural living centre with Tangerine and Olive trees.Bodrum is less sweltering heat in summer than other locations. It is a large neighbourhood with a coastline stretching from Akyarlar to Kadikalesine.
